Early in my walk, a pastor, from a former church, offered help with reading the Bible by suggesting this method.

I imagine my parents would have been sad and felt I didn't like their gift even though I was filled with excitement and joy the day they gave it to me. I now know what they wanted was to watch me enjoy their gift
He invites us to be His hands and feet to go where He calls and do what He has prepared for us.
Forgiveness and reconciliation go together, however, you can forgive without reconciling, but, you can't reconcile without forgiving.
They prevail when we grow tired and become weak. It's not that we grow weak from the fight necessarily, but, most likely we become weak because of the way we fight.
The real attraction brought to the church is the very people attending the church and the ministries that reach out beyond the walls to serve others in the community and beyond. Without people, the church wouldn't exist.
